Hand forged blade with full tang can cut bamboo with strike. More important is its blade is made of pucker steel. Mixed AISI 1055 carbon steel with iron, and forged many times until perfect, and then shaped a rolled, this is a called a forged steel Blade, then forged again putting  folded steel on the 2 sides of AISI 1060 carbon high steel.
